A Blackall residence in the 18th century, by the mid 19th century Jockeyhall was on the Tuthill estate and occupied by Patrick Dundon. This house was included in the sale of the Tomkins estate in 1861 when held by the representatives of George Tuthill.

The original Gardenhill House, home of the Blackall family, was by the time of the first edition Ordnance Survey map, circa 1840, "in ruins". The present house dates from after 1840 and is located at R675 613.
