In 1856 Matthew White was leasing a house valued at £10 at Ballycorban, in the parish of Ballynakill, barony of Leitrim, county Galway from the Burke of Marble Hill estate. Ballycorban is still extant and occupied.

Lewis records Brookville as the seat of Martin White in 1837. He was leasing the property from the Aylward estate at the time of Griffith's Valuation. The estate was "in Chancery" at the time when the buildings were valued at £7. A house still exists at the site.
