At the time of Griffith's Valuation, Dominick D'Arcy is recorded as one of the principal lessors in the parish of Clonrush, barony of Leitrim, county Galway. This branch of the D'Arcys held lands in county Clare but were connected with the D'Arcy family of Kiltullagh and later the D'Arcy's of New Forest.
